Visa data shows digital acceleration in Latin American & Caribbean as consumers flock to e-commerce and contactless

13 million cardholders in Latin America and Caribbean made their first-ever online purchases in the quarter ending in March. Major shifts in consumer behavior as health, hygiene and safety are prioritized during pandemic. Contactless Visa cards have tripled in region compared to a year ago.
